About this policy
This Privacy Policy explains how the operator of Kimolo (“we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information in connection with the Discord application and kimolo.dev. The information processed depends on the features you use, the application’s permissions, and your server’s configuration.
Information we may process
Where needed to operate the features you use, Kimolo may process the following Discord-related information. Not every category is processed or stored for every interaction.
Discord identifiers
User IDs, server/guild IDs, channel IDs, and role IDs, as needed to identify the relevant user or server, route responses, apply permissions, and maintain settings.
Commands and interactions
Command names, options, and information submitted through interactions, as needed to carry out the requested action and respond. This may include text you choose to submit to the application.
Server configuration
Server-specific settings and preferences configured for the application.
Basic diagnostics
Limited operational and error information, such as timestamps, error descriptions, and relevant interaction or server identifiers, where needed to investigate problems.
This list does not mean that Kimolo routinely collects all server messages or stores all information accessible through its permissions. Processing is limited to information needed for the features and purposes described here.
How information is used
We use information to provide, secure, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve Kimolo. This includes responding to commands, applying server settings, addressing errors, preventing abuse, and understanding operational problems.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use it for advertising.
How long information is kept
Information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy. This depends on the type of information, whether it is needed for active features or settings, and any applicable legal obligations. Information that is no longer needed is deleted or anonymized.
Your choices and deletion requests
You can stop interacting with the application, and server administrators can remove it or adjust its permissions through Discord. To request deletion of applicable stored data, email [email protected] with your Discord user ID and, if relevant, the server/guild ID and a description of the data concerned.
We may ask for limited information to verify your identity or authority over the relevant server before acting. Do not send passwords or authentication tokens. We will review your request and explain any information that must be retained for legal obligations or a necessary, ongoing security investigation. Deletion may affect features that depend on the data.
We cannot delete information held independently by Discord or copies controlled by other users. Contact Discord for requests relating to its own records.
This website
This static website does not use analytics, cookies, advertising trackers, or third-party scripts. Its hosting provider, Cloudflare, may process technical request information, such as IP addresses and request metadata, as needed to deliver and protect the website. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy for information about its processing.
If you contact us by email, we use the information you provide to respond to and handle your request.
Discord’s own processing
Discord independently processes information when you use its platform. This policy covers Kimolo and does not replace Discord’s Privacy Policy or other Discord policies.
Policy updates
We may update this policy to reflect changes to the Service or its data practices. The updated date will appear on this page. For material changes, we will seek to provide additional notice through the Service or another appropriate channel.
